More than 400 partners from Asia Pacific gathered in Thailand on 9 May for the annual partner conference Huawei Cloud.
The event focused on how companies can use AI to build better services and satisfaction of growing demand in industries. This year’s topic was “to go together, grow together”.
Jacqueline Shi, which leads global marketing and sales of Huawei Cloud, opened the conference by saying that the company sees strong potential in regional partnerships. She said that governments, banks, telecommunications and internet companies are moving on AI and Huawei Cloud plans to support this shift with upgraded tools and services.
To help the local partners start – or expand quickly – set up a company for the region for the region. The center will offer training, technical support and assistance with marketing. It is part of a wider effort to ensure that partners can build profitable companies on the Huawei cloud.
Extension in Asia Pacific
Asia Pacific has become one of Huawei Cloud’s highest priorities. Over the past five years, the company has been saying that it has grown its business thirty times in the region. He is now working with more than 2,500 partners and has set up five cloud areas and 18 accessibility areas and offers in most Asia the Pacific coverage of low latency.
In 2024 alone, the company reported a 75% increase in income from partners.
Sunny Shang, President of Huawei Cloud Asia Pacific, added the growth of his approach to the local st. He introduced a new version of the Product Acceleration Program, which offers product support, funds of joint development development and shared market planning. Focus on key industry
Huawei Cloud also launched what the “Industry Deep-Dive Initiative” initiative, which focuses on three sectors: Internet, Finance and Telecommunications. The company claims that it wants to build better models of cooperation in each sector by focusing on practical use and helping partners to supply more solutions.
Joy Huang, who oversees the strategy and development of industry for cloud Huawei, spoke of the growing influence of AI in industries. He said the company was investing in AI-NATIVE infrastructure to help partners and customers step. This included the construction of the Huawei, Cloudatrix computer platform and support for new uses with its own AI models such as Pang.
“We expect more than 15 million A-Powred robots and more than 3 billion intelligent devices will be associated with cloud-up cloud-up synergy,” Huang said, quoting projection from Huawei Cloud Computing 2030.
Cloud services with built -in AI
Huawei Cloud promotes what he calls “cloud for ai” and “AI for cloud” approaches, creating six basic capacities to support initiatives: secure and reliable cloud services, global low ltent infrastructure, cloud-aid tools, basic AI models, knowledge data tools, connected devices.
Huang said the platform last year had experienced any main outages, while other sellers had experienced several. He said that the low latency network of Huawei Cloud now includes 33 regions and 96 available areas around the world.
Kubernetes and Cloud-Roda Turbo tools, such as CCE Turbo, play a larger role in the company’s workload, he said. These tools help businesses move faster, especially in complex or highly regulated environments.
Development of products and readiness AI
William Fang, Chief Product Director of Huawei Cloud, shared the update of the company’s infrastructure plan. He said that Cloud Huawei is rebuilt to handle a large workload and volumes of data that come with AI. Huawei Cloud now supports the distributed cloud settings, native AI deployment options, and hybrid deployment options.
Fang explained that the Pang HowWei models are fine -tuned for use in areas such as product research and development, data security and operation. The company also opened new AI computer centers in Asia Pacific, which allowed local companies to train and deploy models without relying on global data centers.
At the Huawei Cloud, he also introduced the “APAC AI Pioneer Plan” plan to speed up the introduction of AI technologies by working more with ecosystem partners.
Growing partnership
According to Ken Kang, who leads the global ecosystem division, the building is a strong partner network. The company wants to make it easier for partners to create, test and sell solutions powered and on its platform.
In Asia Pacific Dale Chen, the director of partner development, he said that Huawei Cloud focuses on two goals: deeper cooperation in key sectors and better sales support tools. This included more targeted marketing, technical account managers and shared sales resources.
Leon Yu, Executive Director of Huawei Cloud, which focuses on partner programs, said the company is constantly selling its 2014 ecosystem. Now working with more than 45,000 partners and 50,000 developers. Partnership obligations, which connect partners with sales potential customers, now generates 20 million potential customers each month.
YU said Huawei has an internal support team to include 20,000 digital workers and 1,000 engineers who help partners with items such as costs, security and infrastructure.
He also added shifts on the market. Ten years ago, most IT investments got into infrastructure services. Now Saas accounts for more than 70% of the market and YU believes the trend will accelerate with AI.
“Not only we build products – building an ecosystem based on shared goals, technical support and talent,” he said.
On the display of the local partnership
During the conference, several regional partners – including AIS, Scash Global, Orange Business and Chulalalongkorn University – shared their experience with working with Huawei Cloud. We have joined the development efforts and how new products form the local needs.
Huawei Cloud says it will continue to invest in local partnerships focusing on AI tools and services that meet the needs of changing industries.
